The full shortcut reference for the player, tagging, and the workspace.

cliply is built to be used without touching the mouse. This page mirrors the in-app shortcuts overlay — press ? or Cmd/Ctrl + / anywhere in the workspace to open it.
Prefer paper? The overlay's Print / PDF button opens a two-page A4 sheet with every shortcut and a keyboard map: download the PDF.
Shortcuts below use Mac modifiers — Cmd (⌘) and Option (⌥). On Windows or Linux, press Ctrl where you see Cmd, and Alt where you see Option. Every shortcut works the same way either side.

[ and ] are matched by their physical key, not by the character they print, so clip navigation works on a Spanish, German or Turkish keyboard where those keys print something else entirely.

Tags & events
Deck tag hotkeys are user-assigned per tag — there's no fixed universal tagging key. Each organization configures its own keys on its own deck in Decks & catalog; hover any button in the workspace to see its bound key in the tooltip.
Big decks can also bind tags on the modifier layers: hold Option (⌥) or Cmd/Ctrl while pressing a key (e.g. ⌥J or ⌘G). The hotkey picker shows exactly which keys each layer has free — combos already used by the app, the browser, or the desktop menus can't be claimed.

Quick actions menu
Press Cmd/Ctrl + Enter on a clip, event or board in the log — or choose Quick actions from its right-click menu — to open a small menu right under it. Each action shows its key in the corner: 1–9 and 0 first, then letters (A, S, D…). Actions a row can't take simply don't appear.
You don't need to click the clip first: after moving between clips with [ and ], Cmd/Ctrl + Enter opens this menu for the clip that's playing, Enter opens its details, and Delete removes it — as long as nothing else has the keyboard, like a text field. In the events log they act on the event you last picked, except that Enter jumps the video back to it. Delete works on a focused event too, and with a selection it asks before deleting all of it.

The organization's Clips list works the same way: move between clips with Up / Down and press Cmd/Ctrl + Enter. On share links that accept feedback, viewers can react to or comment on a clip in the list with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter too.
