Exporting stats
Download a match's stats as a PDF report, an Excel workbook, CSV files or social images.
On this page
The stats screen turns a match's tagged clips into numbers — counts per tag, variants, players, events, a timeline, zones and reactions. The Export menu takes those numbers out of cliply, as a report to print, a spreadsheet to work in, or an image to post. This page is about exporting stats; for video files, see Exporting video.
What you can export
| Format | What you get |
|---|---|
| PDF (A4) | A branded report of the match's stats |
| Report image (PNG) | The same report as a single image |
| Excel (.xlsx) | One workbook with one sheet per table |
| CSV (.zip) | One CSV file per table, zipped |
| Social image · 4:5 | A 1080×1350 card for a feed post |
| Social image · 9:16 | A 1080×1920 card for stories |
| Social image · 16:9 | A 1920×1080 card for a wide post or a slide |
The report and the cards are drawn with your club's look, not screenshotted, so they come out the same whatever size your window was.
What's inside the files
The workbook and the CSV zip carry the same sheets: Summary, tags, variants, players, events, timeline, zones and reactions. Sheets that have nothing to show for the match are left out.
Numbers are written as plain numbers, not text, so you can sum and chart them straight away. In the CSV files decimals use a dot and the encoding is UTF-8 with a BOM, which makes Excel read accents and ñ correctly.
How to export
Open the stats
Open a video and go to its stats screen. If you only care about part of the match, set the time range first.
Pick a format
Click Export and choose a format from the menu. Every format exports what is on screen: the same filters and the same time range.
Save the file
In the browser the file downloads straight away. On the desktop app a save dialog opens so you choose where it goes; cancelling it simply does nothing.
A file covering only part of the match says so — the range is written into the file and added to its name, so a first-half export is never mistaken for the whole match.
Shared stats reports
A stats report shared by link has the same Export menu. Whoever opens the link can download the report in any of the formats above, and they get exactly what the link shows them.
The 9:16 card is sized for stories and the 4:5 one for the feed. Export both and the club's look stays consistent from one post to the next.
Exporting stats does not use any AI credits, and it works offline on the desktop app — nothing is sent to a server.
