Today: match day on your phone

The day's fixture, the material the staff pinned for it, the rival and a search under your thumb.

On this page

Today is your organization's day at a glance: the match or the training on the calendar, what the staff pinned to watch, and the rival you are about to play. It is built for the bench and the pitch, so there are no tables and no filters.

Where it opens

  • On a phone, Today is the organization's home: opening cliply lands here. Press Full view to make the full dashboard the home instead; back on Today, Make Today my home undoes it. The choice is remembered on that phone.
  • On a computer, open it from the calendar with Open the day, from a day's drawer, or by clicking a day's number in the month.

The strip under the date steps through the week. Back to today returns to the current day, and the address keeps the day you are on, so a link you copy opens that same day.

The day

  • The fixture: kickoff time, both crests, the venue with a link to the map, and a countdown. Once it starts it shows Live; afterwards, the result. If the match already has a video, Watch the match plays it here.
  • Two activities on one day (say U17 and the first team): a toggle for each, with its time and team, sits above the fixture.
  • A free day says so and links to the calendar to schedule something.

When you step to another day, what you see dims while the new day loads. Nothing on screen is the new day's until it brightens.

For today: the material

The staff pins what the squad should watch that day — clips, a video, a collection, a talk or a board — and it shows as a numbered rundown in the order it will be watched.

  • Watch all plays every clip and video in a row, full screen, without opening the analysis.
  • Move items with the arrows, and remove one with ✕. Undo brings it back to the same place for a few seconds.
  • A day holds up to 12 items. When it is full, cliply says so; remove one to pin another.

Viewers see the rundown and play it, but cannot change it. You can also prepare a day from the desk: open the day in the calendar and use Material for the day in its drawer.

The rival

On a match day the rival card shows your record against them, the last meetings and the tags you used most against them. Pin the … clips next to a tag puts its clips on the day in one go, and on an empty day the rundown itself offers the clips you already have against that rival. Pinning stops when the day is full.

If something is pinned on your dashboard, it also shows here, ready to add to the day.

Search or pin material

The search bar sits at the bottom of the screen on a phone, and at the top on a computer (press / to open it). It finds clips, videos, collections, talks, boards and players, and goes to any page of the menu.

  • Every row plays or opens, and every row pins to the day: the pin is a toggle, and the sheet stays open while the day's tray fills up at the bottom.
  • Filter by kind with the chips under the search field.
  • From a keyboard: ↵ pins, ⌘↵ watches, Esc closes.

On a phone, on a match day, a Studio button next to the search opens live tagging.
