AI connectors

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to your club's cliply data, read-only.

On this page

An AI connector lets an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT read your club's cliply data and answer questions about it. The connection is read-only: the assistant cannot create, edit or delete anything.

AI connectors are in beta: if your organization is not offered on the authorization screen, write to us at hi@cliply.video to turn them on.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste https://cliply.video/api/mcp and confirm.
  3. Claude opens a cliply window. Sign in if you are not already.
  4. Choose the organization the connection will read. It reads that one and no other.
  5. Check the request and choose Authorize.

The connector then works in Claude on the web, on desktop and on mobile. Other apps that support MCP connectors (ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code) connect the same way, with the same address.

What you can ask

The assistant reads the same data you see in cliply: projects and matches, clips and tags, events and lineups, players and teams, season stats, comments and notes, collections and presentations, who watched what you shared, the calendar and the staff's activity. It links back to each match in cliply. For example:

  • "How did we do in our last match compared with the previous five?"
  • "In which period did we lose the most balls against Rivals?"
  • "Find Lucía's shots in the second half."
  • "Make me a table of our shots and turnovers per match this season."
  • "Which players haven't watched the link I sent on Monday?"

Ready-made reports

Your AI app also lists cliply reports you can start with one click: post-match report, opponent scouting, player report, season review and weekly digest. In Claude they appear under the connector's menu.

If a match has an AI report generated in cliply, the assistant can read it as well.

Some data depends on features your club has on, such as GPS, bench stats, season stats or staff feedback: when one is off, the assistant says so instead of answering.

What it can see

The connection acts as you, inside the organization you chose: it sees what you see there and nothing more. Private projects you cannot open stay closed to it too.

Check the request

The authorization screen shows the app's name and the site you will be sent back to. The name is whatever the app says about itself, so check the site: only authorize if you started the connection yourself.
