cliply lets a handball staff tag the match in the browser, review set attacks, fast breaks and 7-meter throws grouped by type, and send the clips to the squad by link. The deck comes set up for the sport and you can start for free.

## What a handball staff reviews and how it maps to tags

Handball has many possessions per match, so it helps to separate them by type. On your side the deck has "Attack", "Goal", "Fast break" and "7 meters". On the opponent side it has "Save", "Turnover", "Defense" and "Goal against". Each key press creates a clip around that action.

The set attack is studied with "Attack" and its variants "Wing", "Center" and "Pivot", which show where the play was resolved. Filtering by "Pivot" shows how often the team got through at the six-meter line and how it ended, and "Wing" lets you review the throwing angles from the side.

"Fast break" isolates the quick transition, and "Turnover" shows where the opponent's counters start. "Defense" and "Save" let you review the defensive system and the goalkeeper's work, and "Goal against" collects everything to fix. "7 meters" gathers the penalty throws so you can study tendencies.

Handball lives on suspensions, and the deck has them among the events: "2-minute suspension", yellow card, team timeout, substitution and injury, plus period start and end. Marking them on the timeline lets you watch back to back how the team played a man up or a man down. See [Events](https://cliply.video/help/events).

The deck is a starting point: rename it, add or remove tags and change shortcuts. See [Decks and catalog](https://cliply.video/help/decks) and [Antagonist tags](https://cliply.video/help/antagonist-tags).

## A match from start to finish

1. Create a project and add the video: a YouTube or Vimeo link, a direct URL, or a file from your computer. See [Upload videos](https://cliply.video/help/upload-videos).
2. Tag with the keyboard or mouse, live or afterwards. See [Create clips](https://cliply.video/help/create-clips).
3. Filter by tag, for example every fast break against or every save.
4. Draw on a frozen frame and build a collection for the team talk. See [Drawing and telestration](https://cliply.video/help/drawing-telestration).
5. Send a [share link](https://cliply.video/help/share-links). Whoever receives it opens it in any browser, no account needed.

[Live tagging](https://cliply.video/help/live) works on every plan. If the gym has no signal, you can record an offline session and assign it to a project later.

## Tactics board and presentations

The [tactics board](https://cliply.video/help/tactics-board) includes the handball court, with pieces for two teams and free drawing. It helps explain a defensive system or an attacking rotation. With [presentations](https://cliply.video/help/presentations) you combine clips, tactical animations and images in a single talk.

## Which plan you need

Free allows one project and up to five videos. Solo, Team, Club and Enterprise add capacity. Current prices are on [pricing](https://cliply.video/pricing) and each plan is described in [Plans and pricing](https://cliply.video/help/plans-and-pricing).

## When cliply isn't the right fit

- If you need the full match uploaded to a server and kept there, that starts at the Club plan, or with the Cloud add-on on another plan. Otherwise the video stays on YouTube or Vimeo, or on your own device.
- If you need automatic positional data for each player from the video, cliply does not generate it. Drawing markers follow a player within a clip, but they are for explaining the play, not measuring it.
- If several people must tag the same video at the same time in the same workspace, that is not available yet.
- If your club already uses another tool, you can import its XML files, the format most video analysis tools share, and decide later. See [XML Inspector](https://cliply.video/help/xml-inspector).

## Try it with your own match

Open [/try](https://cliply.video/try), paste a YouTube match link and tag it in the browser, no account needed.
